GRS Retail and Garden Connect launch 40 webshops in record time

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, there has been a peak in the whole garden industry: both online and offline multiple records were broken. Even so both the Belgian and the Dutch garden centres had to close their physical stores in December, which was a bummer. Especially now that spring is coming up soon and the high number of customers who are very excited to get their garden ready for the season, the need was high to find a good alternative for garden centres. Fortunately, they were allowed to use click & collect since February. GRS Retail, a Dutch garden retail organisation took this opportunity together with Garden Connect and developed a click & collect webshop for all of their members. 

The click & collect webshops are fully branded to the look and feel of the garden centres. And of course, the product range and prices are all adjusted as well.

More than 40 garden centres signed up for the click & collect webshops since mid-February and their reactions have been very positive. Their customers have found their ways to the click & collect webshops and the first orders were placed immediately after the launch. 
GRS Retail offers these click & collect webshops free of charge for their members. Also in Belgium, where the stores have re-opened, but e-commerce is still a great addition.
